The challenge: World migrations and growing number of refugees are the challenges which almost every country nowadays faces. Integrating refugees into a society is one of the most important aspect of facing these problems.

The process: Since this problem affects many European countries, we partnered up with organisations from Lithuania and Latvia so as to exchange experiences and work together on solving this problem. This way the youth would get a chance to develop in a multicultural environment, thus building up their tolerance and increasing multilingualism. In the meantime, the refugees would integrate into the society faster, since the youth would help them with the local language, culture, traditions, etc.

The solution: Together with organisations Active Youth, Policy Research and Analysis Institute from Lithuania and Baltic Youth from Latvia we worked on developing a program which will provide to the winners and youth organisations a way to integrate refugees. Our main focus was on communication aspect of the campaign, implementing and producing the campaign Refuge Friendly Label and creating guidelines for crowdfunding campaigns on the project website.
