As part of the “BioMOZAIK Krš i more” projects, implemented by the Split-based Association for Eco-Social Innovation and Development – CEDRA (Michael Freer; Ivana Antišić; Marin Udiljak) and the Erasmus+ project MORE Than Online Education, the Brodoto association held a crowdfunding workshop at the beginning of November for ten schools from the Split-Dalmatia County. Despite having no previous experience, these schools quickly organized themselves, and most of them had already launched their first crowdfunding campaigns by December.
They had to not only organize a team and decide what they would raise funds for and what plans they had for the product or service in question, but from the very start also involve the students in the preparation and implementation of the campaign, as well as in filming the promotional video. In addition, they had to explore all the accounting challenges a school might face when launching an online fundraising campaign for the first time. The vast majority succeeded in doing so, and we congratulate them!
